Barbara
Ozieblo is the author of Susan
Glaspell: A Critical Biography, published
by North Carolina Press (Chapel Hill) in 2000.
She is the co-founder and President of the
Susan
Glaspell Society. Her publications include

Professor
Titular of American literature at the University
of Málaga, Spain, since 1986, Ozieblo
teaches graduate programs in Women’s Studies
and American Women Dramatists, and undergraduate
courses in American Literature and American
Drama. She organized the international conferences
“The Political and the Personal in American
Drama” (2000) and “Acting America” (2004)
at the University of Málaga, and edited
selections of essays that resulted from the
papers and following discussions: Staging
a Cultural Paradigm: The Political and the
Personal in American Drama (2002) and Codifying
the National Self: Spectators, Actors and
the American Dramatic Text, (2006) both
published by P.I.E.-Peter Lang (Brussels).
She is the International Secretary for the
American
Theatre and Drama Society (ATDS) and was
Treasurer of the Spanish
Association for American Studies (SAAS)
from 1999-2007.
